Dial-a-Ride Services

These services will be and will mean that those who have difficulty reaching the health centre will be able to arrange door-to-door transport if they are members of a Dial-a-Ride service.

(1) The Bustler Community Transport scheme is based at  Woking Town Centre and makes facilities more accessible for those who have difficulty using public transport.

Bustler operates two services: Dial-a-Ride and Dial-a-Bus, both operating from the surrounding villages of Woking and bringing passengers to and from the Town Centre. Both buses have the additional benefit of picking you up from outside your front door and all Bustler buses are equipped with tail-lifts and low steps to enable you to get on or off the bus more easily.

Fares comparable to normal commercial bus services apply but if you hold a Surrey County Council Bus Pass then you only pay half the standard fare.

(2) Runnymede Dial-a-Ride is available for anyone living in the Runnymede Borough with a mobility difficulty that makes it difficult for them to use the standard bus service. It is available to young and old alike, whether their mobility difficulty is a result of permanent or temporary disability, age, accident or illness. They do not have to be registered disabled.

An essential escort may travel free of charge if you need extra assistance on your journey. Alternatively, you may also take a companion who should pay full fare.

The service is available Monday to Saturday 9.00am to 5.00pm and the annual registration fee is £5.
