Swine Flu

Swine flu symptoms are similar to those produced by ordinary seasonal flu - fever, cough, sore throat, aches, chills and fatigue. If you have flu symptoms and have returned from Mexico or the USA (especially Texas, California and New York) within the past 7 days, or have had contact with someone with swine flu or suspected of having swine flu within the past 7 days, then you should stay at home and take advice by telephone by calling either NHS Direct 0845 4647 or your GP surgery as above. In order to minimise the risk of infection, please do not visit your GP surgery without obtaining advice first.
